2008 Campaign Kickoff Raises $246,000!
Our gratitude goes out to the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas, as donors and guests attended a fabulous Kickoff breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 15th. President Cheryl George-Chance and Campaign Co-Chairs Mary Gleason and Simon Caines, hosted a crowd of over 170 attendees representing loyal philanthropists, donors and volunteers.
28% of our $800,000 goal was raised as the pledges poured in. This year, every time a pledge was made, the donor lit the torch. Top corporate pledges came from West Indian Company, Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig and International Capital and Management ($10K each), and Bank of Nova Scotia ($6K). We are on our way!
