2007 Campaign
United Way thanks the thousands of supporters who contributed to our 2007 fundraising campaign. Our exciting campaign kick-off involved volunteers and donors in a full day of painting, planting and sprucing up at Ebenezer Gardens on Saturday, September 23rd. Campaign co-chairs, Alicia Boatwright and Ermine Boschulte have led a dynamic campaign this year, overcoming challenges to reach 80% of our $800,000 goal to date. Hats off to both, who have served as United Way board members for many years! Campaign 2007 has been a success due to the diligent efforts of our 25-member, volunteer board of directors , campaign committee members and volunteer coordinators. Most of all, we thank YOU, the thousands of individual donors, and employees who increased payroll deductions this year.

2007 CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTS!
Campaign Co-Chairs, Alicia Boatwright and Ermine Boschulte, extend special thanks to all campaign coordinators who worked hard to support our campaign this year! Pledges are still pouring in as we reach 80% of our $800,000 goal. Many thanks to all of the volunteer coordinators, who helped to collect and report payroll deductions pledged by employee groups this year. Employee groups have pledged more than $212,000 to date. Hats off to board member Hugh “Pete” Mabe, chairman of the Pacesetters Committee, who helped to add over 23 individuals who gave $500 or more this year. Great job Pete! St. John Division head, Carole DeSennes, has again assisted in raising funds from St. John donors to support UW. Congrats to Alicia Boatwright, who concurrently served as campaign co-chair and Division Head for Residentials, whose fundraising efforts have again exceeded the goals for her division! Our success is a team effort.
