These were just a few of the comments from the audience at United Way’s “Jazz for a Cause” Concert held on January 21, 2006 at Reichhold Center for the Arts. United Way presented the Reuben Rogers group, featuring bassist Reuben Rogers, saxophonist Ron Blake and jazz diva, Dianne Reeves. It was a rare and special treat to have Reuben and Ron, both well-known recording artists, back home and performing live. Even more phenomenal was having the celebrated jazz vocalist and three-time Grammy Award winner, Dianne Reeves, on stage at the Reichhold Center for the Arts.
