United Way with Jazz
Come celebrate United Way’s 25th anniversary at Coral World on January 18, 2004 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Top local jazz musicians will be featured. Tickets are $40 per person to include food and drink. Proceeds go toward the support of United Way’s 16 member agencies. Call the United Way office for ticket information at 774-3185.
United Way Walk/Fun Run Support the last leg of the United Way 2004 Campaign!
United Way will hold its annual 2-mile Walk/Fun Run at 4:30 p.m. on January 25, 2004. The run begins at the Coast Guard Dock on the Waterfront to Frenchtown and back. Awards will be given to the top finishers, and special awards to government departments and companies with the most employees participating. The first 100 registered finishers will receive mini towels. Pre-registration at Emancipation Garden Post Office on Saturday, January 24th, at Players in Havensight, Going Seanile at Royal Dane Mall, and the United Way office. United Way raffle tickets now on sale. First prize is a Royal Caribbean 7-Day Caribbean cruise for two. Five additional prizes, including stays at premier hotels on St. Thomas and St. John. Tickets may be purchased from any United Way board member or at the United Way office in Nisky Center. Proceeds go toward the support of United Way’s 16 member agencies. United Way Bazaar and Flea Market
United Way of St. Thomas-St. John will hold its annual Bazaar and Flea Market on February 21, 2004 at the American Legion Hall in Sub Base. Bargains galore! Food, drinks and entertainment too! Donations of furniture, household wares, books, clothing and other flea market items are presently being accepted. Volunteers are needed to help sort, price and sell. Call 774-3185.
